We have had some incredible weather here in the valley this winter, but when the days of cloudy and overcast pile up on top of each other, the coast is often a great place to catch up on our Vitamin D deficiency.
Or, when all of Oregon is insisting on winter, we can head to the UO campus for some culture.
The girls recently discovered COOKING shows- namely, The Cupcake Wars, and they are both more motivated than ever to help in the kitchen. This weekend, they each planned and "head cheffed" a family dinner (Jez: hamburgers french fries and salad; Win: spaghetti and kale salad).

In other news, Winona LOVED her horsebacking riding lessons, but is now happily enjoying dance classes (and Jez continues to love her gymnastics class).
